About
Trinity Lutheran Church is located in the Northern Great Lakes Synod, and is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located in downtown Ishpeming, Michigan. Trinity was founded on the solid rock of Christ by a group of Norwegian immigrants in 1871 and has been a vital part of this community since that time.
While a lot of things can (and do!) change throughout time, something that has not changed is the commitment of the Tribune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – to Trinity and Trinity’s commitment to loving and serving God and neighbor.
Everything we are able to do and be as a congregation is possible only through God’s love and grace. In turn, we seek to have Christ as the center of all that we do – as a congregation, as families, and as individuals.

Our Mission
Trinity Lutheran Church will, by the grace of God, faithfully witness to God’s love through prayer, worship, and support of others and encourage Spirit-led growth within the church, the community, and the world.
